General
General Questions
The short version of what Nirudishie is, who it is for, and where it fits in a personal lending workflow.
What is Nirudishie?
Nirudishie is a personal loan tracking platform built for Kenyans. It helps you record loans you have given to friends or family, send automated email reminders, and track repayments all in one place.
What does "Nirudishie" mean?
Nirudishie is a Swahili word meaning "pay me back" or "return it to me." It reflects the product goal of helping you recover money you are owed without awkward follow-up.
Who is Nirudishie for?
It is built for people who lend money to friends, family, or colleagues and want a clearer record of who owes what, when repayment is due, and what has already been paid back.
Is Nirudishie a money lending service?
No. Nirudishie does not lend money. It helps you track personal loans you have already agreed outside the platform.
Billing
Plans & Billing
Answers about plan limits, upgrades, and the current shape of billing-related access in the product.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan lets you start tracking loans without paying upfront. If pricing changes or paid tiers expand, the pricing page will reflect the current structure.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you are on a paid plan, billing changes and cancellations follow the billing controls available on your account. If your workspace does not show billing controls yet, contact support and we can help directly.
Technical
Technical Details
How repayment links, exports, and data handling work in the system you have today.
How does the repayment link work?
Each loan can have a secure borrower-facing repayment link. The borrower uses it to view the loan and payment details you configured, then submit a payment request for your review instead of instantly creating a final repayment record.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Loan and repayment data move through authenticated app flows and protected storage. We treat loan records and borrower details as sensitive account data.
Can I export my loan data?
Yes. You can export your history as a CSV file from the history page. PDF-style exports are not available yet.
What happens if a borrower pays outside the app?
You can manually record the repayment from the loan workflow. Once saved, the outstanding balance, recovery progress, and transaction history update immediately.
